Happy Tails Everyday Blend

At Happy Tails, we believe good nutrition doesn't have to be difficult. We created our this blend as an easy way to add a variety of wholesome ingredients to the food your dog already loves.These are ingredients we feel good about adding to our own dogs' bowls, too.
What's Inside & Why
Goat's Milk – Provides naturally occurring protein, vitamins and minerals while adding delicious flavor dogs love.
Collagen Peptides – Provides amino acids used throughout the body and is a great addition for dogs of all ages, especially as they get older.
Bone Broth Powder – A flavorful source of protein and naturally occurring amino acids that makes everyday meals even more enticing.
Pumpkin Powder – A natural source of fiber that helps support healthy digestion and normal stool consistency while adding beneficial vitamins and plant nutrients.
Chicken Feet – Naturally provide collagen and other components associated with connective tissues.
Beets – A colorful whole-food ingredient providing fiber and naturally occurring plant nutrients and antioxidants.
Turmeric – Contains naturally occurring curcumin and other plant compounds and is traditionally valued for its antioxidant properties.

Stop the Scratch
Sometimes the products we create at Happy Tails start with our own dogs.
When Delilah and Jethro began struggling with seasonal itching—licking their paws and scratching their bellies—we wanted something gentle that we could reach for whenever they needed a little extra comfort. We created Stop the Scratch with carefully selected ingredients to soothe, moisturize and care for sensitive skin.
When we tried it on our own pups, we were amazed at how quickly they seemed more comfortable. We saw almost immediate relief from the constant licking and scratching, and that's when we knew we had created something we wanted to share with other dog families.
What's Inside & Why
Colloidal Oatmeal – Helps soothe and moisturize dry, itchy-feeling and irritated skin while supporting the skin's natural protective barrier.
Aloe Vera – Provides gentle moisture and helps soothe sensitive skin.
Calendula – A botanical traditionally used to calm and condition delicate skin.
Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) – Helps attract and retain moisture, leaving skin hydrated and conditioned.
Vegetable Glycerin – Helps keep moisture in the skin and combat dryness.
Simple. Gentle. Made with our dogs in mind—and yours.
Spray onto paws, legs, bellies or other areas of dry, sensitive skin and gently massage as needed. Avoid eyes, mouth, inside the ears and broken skin.
Happy Paws
(Paw Balm)
Some of our favorite Happy Tails products are created because our own dogs need them first.
Our dogs are constantly on the go—running through the yard, walking on hot summer ground and putting those little paws through a lot! We wanted something simple and gentle that would moisturize and protect their paw pads without unnecessary fragrances or harsh ingredients.
That's how Happy Paws was born.
We use it on our own dogs to keep their paws soft, conditioned and protected—and we love knowing exactly what's going on their paws when they inevitably decide to lick them!
What's Inside & Why
Shea Butter – Rich and moisturizing, helping soften and condition dry, rough paw pads.
Mango Butter – Provides additional moisture and helps keep dry skin soft and supple.
Beeswax – Creates a light protective barrier that helps lock in moisture and protect paws from everyday environmental exposure.
Jojoba Oil – A lightweight conditioning oil that helps nourish and soften dry skin.
Sunflower Oil – Provides skin-conditioning fatty acids while helping keep rough pads moisturized.
Vitamin E – An antioxidant that helps protect the oils in our balm while providing additional skin-conditioning benefits.
Simple ingredients. Happy paws. Happy dogs.
Massage a small amount onto clean, dry paw pads or nose as needed. A little goes a long way! Allow the balm to absorb before your pup heads back outside.
What About Our Traditional Products ??
Locally Sourced Meats
We work diligently to source the meat in our food and jerky from local farmers, ranchers and butchers. When that is not possible, we support our local grocers.
Liver
Liver is useful in a dog’s diet because it’s extremely nutrient-dense. In small amounts, it provides nutrients that are harder to get from muscle meat alone, including:
Vitamin A for vision, immune function, skin, and cell growth
B vitamins, especially B12, for energy metabolism and nervous-system support
Iron for red blood cell production and oxygen transport
Copper and other trace minerals
High-quality protein
Natural flavor that makes food more appealing
The key is moderation. Liver is so concentrated that too much can provide excessive vitamin A and copper over time, so it’s better as a small part of the diet or as a topper/treat rather than a large daily portion. Recommendation is no more than 5% of the total diet.
Sides - Everything else in our food
Our food includes a daily amount of Carbohydrates for energy and fiber to support bowel regularity. Fiber and beta-carotene, which dogs can convert into vitamin A to support normal vision, immune function, and skin health. .Fiber, vitamin C, and plant compounds with antioxidant activity. Vitamins and antioxidant compounds, plus fiber. High-quality protein{s}, essential amino acids, fatty acids, and vitamins and minerals that support muscle maintenance, tissue repair, and skin and coat health.
Sustainability
We cook our eggshells and grind them up for a natural source of calcium.
We save the pumpkin seeds and pulp from our farm raised pumpkins and dehydrate them and grind them for a natural source of Omega 3s and fiber - this also is a natural de-wormer.
We never throw broth away! We store it in containers and freeze it for our local shelters to use, as well as our customers to add more liquid nutrients to their pets’ diet (this is great for dogs or cats).
